I also wanted to provide a quick update on whats going on with Tealart and our server move. I’ve currently got all the files and directories properly uploaded to our new host but I’ve been having alot of problems with my net connection at home. Our service (hotwire) is so shitty that I cannot create a reliable FTP or SSH connection to do uploads and administration duties.

Until I switch over to the new host (Verizon) we’ll still be sitting on our current host. Once that reliable connection is established you might notice 24hrs of downtime because of the DNS resolution changes. I wish there was a way we could do it completely transparently but I might just notify you all of the IP and then we can go from there.

Btw, last month was our highest unique traffic month ever. Thanks to all of readers for sticking by us through the quiet times. We are dying for a little feedback though

Just came across a really odd bug in Last.fm’s audio streaming service. Whenever a Linkin Park song comes up (primarly from their Live album) it degenerates into complete static, almost as if the songs are skipping. It doesn’t do this on any other song that I’ve come across.

Odd, very odd.

I mean, I know there are plenty of people out there that don’t like Linkin Park and maybe its deliberate sabatage! They’ve poisoned the well, abandon ship!

Or, not really. Its probably just a problem with the streaming code. I know their other site has been having some problems recent with load and PHP sucking up alot of resource time. Maybe its related, or maybe not. Who knows. I’ll try emailing them later today and see what I can find out.
